Name Correction On Cebu Pacific Booking

Friday, January 13, 2017
Have you ever had reasons to correct your name in your Cebu Pacific booking? Be it a misspelled name or you entered the wrong surname or for whatever other reasons that your name is wrong in your reservation, don't fret as Cebu Pacific's got you covered.

In my case, it was an issue with my passport. The booking was under my married name but due to my new passport not being released on time,  I have to use my old passport with my maiden name on it.

I admit I don't handle stress very well. Adding to the fact that my flight was close, my initial reaction after learning that I won't get my passport on time was to worry and panic. I researched online for solutions but there were only a few resources about it. I can't even find one in Cebu Pacific's website aside from instructing me to contact their call center. Calling them is not my cup of tea as you would probably know how much of a pain it is to wait for someone from there to answer your call.

Cebu 2015: Oslob

Friday, June 26, 2015
I always have this feeling of nostalgia when I think of my friends who are mostly based in Cebu now. They are my closest bunch, having spent four years in college together. After graduation, we went our separate ways and I'm one of the few who based in Manila, far way from them and the the gimmicks we used to do back then.

Thankfully, budget airlines like AirAsia offers a lot of promo fares from Manila to Cebu. Hence, I can just book myself a two-way ticket in a breeze because I don't have to worry about the fee as it's so affordable. Thank you, AirAsia!

So I visited Cebu once again last week (June 18-22, 2015) to catch up with my guys and gals. Because it's less of an adventure to just stay in the city for the whole weekend, the gang went to Oslob, Cebu for some beach, waterfalls and whale shark watching.

Palawan Escapade: Puerto Prinsesa

Friday, March 27, 2015
Palawan is an unspoiled island rich in luscious white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. I believe it is in every Pinoy wanderlust's bucket list.  Last February 21-24, 2015, I was blessed enough to explore Palawan's capital, Puerto Prinsesa City with my former office mates.

The Rosario Family, my trip buddies!

Girls Day Out: Mantangale Alibuag Dive Resort

Tuesday, September 16, 2014
This is post long overdue. It's almost a month now since my high school buddies and I went to Mantangale Alibuag Dive Resort in Balingoan for a beach day out and to snorkel. Honestly, even though it was just an hour of bus ride away from home, it's a shame it was only my first time to visit this spot.

Anyway, to get to the resort, we just boarded a Lipunan Bus that's bound for Gingoog City. From Balingasag to Balingoan, the fare is 32.00 Php if my memory serves me right. The resort is just a few meters away from the highway actually but in our haste and excitement, we alighted from the bus at Balingoan Public Terminal so we needed to take another ride to the resort itself by a tricycle.

We then walked going to the resort's gate where the guard asked us to pay 150.00 php each for the entrance which can be consumed through food (and cottage perhaps). I wasn't so sure about the latter though.

#AwesomeWeekend at Cebu

Tuesday, June 24, 2014
I am a self-confessed wanderlust. Most people today would dream to acquire wealth and riches but not me. Well of course, I have to have money to sustain my needs (and some wants) but not those insanely huge figures. Anyway, this is not the topic of this post today. The topic is about my experience and realizations last weekend when I went to Cebu to visit my closest college and high school friends whom mostly I have not seen for almost two years. It's been that long since two weeks after our graduation, I flew directly to Manila to find my 'fate', well technically to find a job. And ever since then, I haven't got to see them as we were all busy making a living in the 'real world'.

Minalungao National Park (5.1.2014)

Wednesday, May 07, 2014
Another day spent with mother nature! May 1, 2014 was my dear boyfriend's 24th birthday. Since it's a holiday here in the Philippines ( Labor Day), we set a day trip to Minalungao National Park in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija. According to our forever friend, Wikipedia, Minalungao National Park is "a protected area covering 2,018 hectares centered along the scenic PeƱaranda River bordered on both sides by up to 16-meter high limestone walls in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountain range. It was established in 1967 by virtue of Republic Act No. 5100".

We rented a van to take us to and fro General Tinio, N.E. Actually, the planned time of departure was 5:00 AM, however, there were a lot of things that were bought along the way plus no one from the group really knew the road going there so we indeed up arriving on the site around past 11:00AM. That's after asking a lot of people for directions and hearing different answers. Mind you, it's such a pain in the a** not to know which road to take so better do a lot of research before heading there because it's a remote place and you might get lost in the winding road.  Fast-forward, this was the view that welcomed us there. There were a lot of people already when we arrived so we hurried to find a place we can rent for our stay.

Byaheng Ilocos

Thursday, April 10, 2014
Finally, another item in my bucket list crossed out! *insert grinning face here* Last March 28-30, 2014, I was able to get the chance to join a weekend trip to the famous provinces of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.  Actually, we (my boyfriend and I) were not part of the original group who planned the trip but since some of the original members withdrawn on the last minute due to personal reasons, we were able to hop in. Thanks to Mommy Babes and Sir Iket!

Our trip started on the night of the 28th where we rode a Partas Bus bound to Loaog which departed around 10:00 PM from Cubao. Beforehand, we were told that the trip was to take 9-10 hours to get to Vigan. It was somehow grueling to think that we will be sitting for that long but good thing it was a night trip so we just have to sleep while we travel. Thankfully however, the bus driver was quite a racer because it only took us seven hours to get to Vigan and yes, I quite felt that the bus was close to flying haha! Yet, Partas takes pride in their drivers so I’m confident that no harm will come to us.  I guess since we also only had one stop - that's in Pangasinan, that the travel was fast.
